About Us - MC Kats Foundation
MC KATS FOUNDATION is Platform for elevating the voices of those that have been made to feel less of humans through stigmatization, violence, and other kinds of torture mentally, emotionally, and physically due to their HIV status.
Founded by Edwin Katamba also popularly known as Mc Kats is a Ugandan legendary emcee, media personality including Television show host of After5 on NBS Television in Uganda and principal founder of Music Label Kats Music and also founder of King of the Mic show which is held in Uganda.
We aim at sensitizing those that lack knowledge of their actions, cautioning those that indulge in negativity towards our fellow friends and families living a positive life as well as creating entertainment in various capacities and activities to bring closer everyone as one no matter their status and giving power to those that have lost their faith in a future for themselves, our craft is that of “Edutainment”.

I am HIV Positive and taking my medication even when infected my 5 kids are all safe and Negative, the eldest is 19 and youngest is 7 years.

In 2019, I publicly disclosed my HIV status and have since helped to fight stigma and sensitize among the youth, i have undertaken various endeavors as part of my civic responsibility to advocate, advise and inspire the younger generation about HIV and other related diseases.
